As i’m writing this i just got done watching ‘UFO Files’ on the History Channel. Now, i can see how this stuff ties into ‘history’ like the program’ haunted history’ it’s ‘history’ related. But they’re really stretching this stuff with ‘Monster Quest’ and other programs. I’m all for watching stuff like UFO Files, Bigfoot, and ghosts and a million other types of programs like this, but why is this on the History Channel? Are they really this desperate to maintain viewership that they need these programs? Do they not have enough material from the annuls of recorded human history to fill a time slot? They could probably launch an entirely new network devoted to all of the supernatural and cryptozoology show their running.
They had some crazy backwater ‘eyewitness’ on one of the ghost shows talking about how he saw a ‘Ghost Cannon’ and Union solders at Gettysburg. First of all, a cannon is an inanimate object it can’t die- let alone manifest itself into the spirit realm. How does this stuff get on TV? I sent an email to the History Channel venting my frustrations….
