As you may have noticed our latest strip features a collaboration with Page 8 Productions (www.page8productions) artists Maki Naro & Nadir Balan. The collaboration began as a joke on Facebook about ‘Continental Drift’, poking fun at environmentalists. We wanted to use some dialogue from the conversation and Maki proposed having us place them in an Backspace comic strip.
Nadir drew a truly inspired piece, based on an unconnected conversation between himself and Maki talking about Kindle. We tied the two idea’s together and incorporated Nadir’s artwork (portraying himself and Maki) into the strip illustrated by Kyle Wengren.
What transpired is pretty awesome. Take a good look at the background Kyle drew here too and see if you can pick up on all the easter eggs. 
This was a great collaboration and we had a lot of fun doing it, hope you all enjoy it!
